FAQ
Where do the tenders come from?
At launch, from buy.nsw, the NSW Government's procurement portal (Source: State of New South Wales, NSW Treasury. For current information go to buy.nsw). More states are coming, and every listing links to its official source.
Can't I get these alerts free from the government?
Yes. Each portal offers its own alerts, and you're welcome to use them. BidBucket saves you logging in and wading through hundreds of unrelated categories: you get only the ones relevant to your trade, each with a one-line plain-English summary, in one short email.
Do you help write tenders?
Not at the moment. BidBucket is about finding the right opportunities quickly. Always read the full tender documents on the official portal before bidding.
How are summaries written?
Summaries are drafted with the help of AI from the public notice. They're a guide only; the official notice is what counts.
What happens when my free trial ends?
We don't take card details for the trial, so you can't be charged by surprise. A few days before your 14 days are up, we'll email you a link to subscribe. If you don't, the emails simply stop.
How do I cancel?
Reply "cancel" to any email, or email hello@bidbucket.site. We'll stop billing from the end of your current paid period, and we'll confirm by email. No lock-in contracts, no notice period, no phone call needed.
Do you cover councils, other states or Commonwealth tenders?
Not yet. At launch we cover NSW Government opportunities on buy.nsw. We're asking other portals for permission before adding them. Choose "Other state" on the sign-up form to join the waitlist.
Is it worth it if I only win one job?
That depends on your business. We can't promise you'll win work, but you can judge it on real listings during the free trial before paying anything.
Is BidBucket a government service?
No. It's an independent Australian small business, not affiliated with any government agency or portal.
